I just wanted to write about my title and let people know why I call it that. I do not want people to do some of the things I have done because I am not sure how they will work out for you. I have traveled in countries alone. I pretty much went to China alone except that I met other travelers there and it worked out. Don’t do those crazy things that other people have done. I remember that I slit my wrist while ice skating. No, it wasn’t happy Gilmore style where someone was coming after me with a but we were playing Marco Polo, I fell, wrist went to take the fall and the leg slipped and slit the wrist. It wasn’t a very good thing to do but I did it and after I healed I got back on the ice. Don’t talk to strangers a lot unless you have a sense where you know something bad is going to happen. THIS IS A DEFINITE DO NOT DO, is use your credit card at night, in Salvador Brazil, where all the popular restaurants are in the upper part of the town past the elevator (those that been there know what I am talking about). I used mine at a fancy restaurant and I didn’t get it back for like 20 minutes. I was wondering where it was and the owner said some house up the street was running it through and then I walked up there with her and a door was opened by a man. It was a dark stair case and I walked down cautiously and then the door closed behind me. Then another door was opened and I tried to convince our tour guide of the death stair case to go in front of me but he said he had to close the door. I was sure I was going to get hit in the back of the head and get knocked out and not wake up but when I got down there it was a little old lady swiping my credit card saying that it wasn’t going through but a few minutes later it did. I got lucky, you hear stories of people getting robbed in Brazil all the time. I didn’t get robbed and left for dead but I know better now. Use cash and hide it well. This is the first installment of Don’t do what I do. Many others will come
