Don’t do what I do

I was reading someone’s elses blog and they talk about why people blog and came up with simple questions and was looking for answers from other bloggers.  I noticed this and thought I might write a little bit about why I blog and who I blog for.

I saw 300 last week and was in awe of Frank Miller’s work once again. I am going to digress but the first movie I saw of his as with many other people was Sin City. Sin City was a different type of movie with all it’s stories and plot lines but we weren’t intrigued with those but with the way it was filmed. The use of black and white highlighted each character but the use of color in a few scenes attracted the eye of the viewer. It was nothing we’d seen before and the cast was unbelievable chosen. He hit the same with 300. The saturated color in the film made it have pleasant feeling. He chose an amazing cast and I realized it at the end where the narrator speaks of Leonidas producing a roar for all of Sparta and at that moment I saw why he chose Gerard Butler as King Leonidas, just because of that single roar.
